Last week we were contacted by a local family who had recently sold their home, needed to stay in the area, but weren't sure if they wanted to build or buy an existing home. Until they are confident in which choice makes the most sense for them they have opted to rent a high end home on a lake. Unfortunately the house has poorly utilized storage areas, and they were wanting something more functional.....that's where we came in. They loved our designs and the price was fair, but with this unique situation the renters were not sure they wanted to invest a great deal of money into a home that would not be theirs for much more than a year. We proposed an affordable solution to this family that allows them to take advantage of our products, while at the same time being sensitive to them not wanting to invest unnecessary money into someone else's home. Not only will the family be renting the house, but our storage products will be renting a little space, too! Sounds odd, huh? We have given the renters the option of either having us relocate the closet shelving into their new home after their rental agreement is up or paying a restocking fee to us to remove the shelving and add back to our inventory as an item we can resell at a discount to a future client as "gently used". The family just signed off on our proposal this morning, and couldn't be more excited to have new closets added to their amazing new home....I mean rental home!
